Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to visit.
SS Peter and Paul is a Catholic primary school based within the Archdiocese of Southwark and the London Borough of Merton. Our welcoming and celebratory ethos enables the school to foster an ethos of understanding, mutual respect, forgiveness, tolerance and welcome for all. We aim to provide children with the best start to their educational lives.
We are a diverse community, typical of this area, and enjoy harmonious relationships within the school. Our aim is that this website provides all the information you need to know about the school. You can also find photographs of life at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School on our Instagram page SSPPMitcham1 - well worth a visit!
At SS Peter and Paul, we place the teachings of Christ at the centre of everything that we do. All of our interactions, whether with children, parents, staff, governors and other visitors, are formed from Gospel values and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our mission also celebrates our essential “togetherness”. The behaviour policy and practices are based upon these principles, which ensure that our children learn and grow in their formation before moving to their secondary education.
The website is a valuable source of information about the school. Here, you will find information about the staff, governors and curriculum matters. There are also policies which can be read and downloaded from this website.
If, in looking through this website, you have additional questions or comments, please do not hesitate to make contact with the school either in person (where practical), through email or by phone.
Our School Mission Statement
“Learning Together, Achieving Together, in Christ”
We aim to provide a stimulating curriculum, within a purposeful environment, that enriches the learning of the children.
Our children are encouraged to be confident and resilient learners in order to rise to the challenges they will encounter, within the school, the community and beyond.
We aim to instil a sense of aspiration in the children through positive attitudes and high expectations.
Our children can expect a consistent approach to enable them to succeed to the best of their abilities.
As a school, the values that Christ taught us underpin everything that we do.
