She will coordinate workouts with children in various year groups as well as lead an inspirational  assembly where they will be able to ask her questions.

Year Three went on a River Trip to London - posted 15th Jun

On Tuesday, Year 3 went on a London boat cruise to link in with our rivers topic. The children learned lots of cool information about the river and the surrounding buildings/landmarks. Afterwards they went in to watch the London experience film which was in 4D and the children loved!

To kick off their science topic on sound, Year 4 have been investigating how musical instruments create sound. Looking at each group of instruments, percussion, wind and strings, they looked into how each of them can be played.  They discovered how instruments can either be hit, blown or plucked!

Serita Solomon

SSPP is getting a visit from a Team GB athlete - posted 5th Jun

This morning the children were told that the school will be visited by Serita Solomon, a Team GB athlete.  She will be here on FRIDAY the 15th of June, talking to us about her amazing journey towards being one of the top athletes in her sport, 100m Hurdles. All children will be bring home more information about the day and event, please look out for the sponsor forms and help us raise money for a great cause.

Florence Nightingale visits SSPP - posted 30th May

Year 2 had an amazing day dressing up as nurses and soldiers linking to our Florence Nightingale topic. We had a visitor from the Florence Nightingale Museum who told us lots of interesting facts about Florence. We had the opportunity to re-enact the battle at Scutari and the scene at the hospital at that time. The children had a fantastic day! Thank you to all the parents for their support.
